Meet the staff from Naylor Landscape Management, Inc. With over 25 years of total Landscaping experience, Naylor Landscape Management can design and excecute the most extensive landscapes.
Continuing education and certification is a requirement to stay updated on the newest philosophies and techniques to ensure the best quality results in the landscape process. Naylor prides itself in preparing and requiring its employees to stay current by testing and maintaining the Michigan Certified Nurseryman and Michigan Pesticide Applicator License through the MNLA and the State of Michigan.

President
Barney Naylor is the Founder and President of Naylor Landscape Management, Inc. He started the business in 1982 while attending Western Michigan University. After earning a Bachelors Degree in biology, he decided to make the green industry a permanent career.
Barney is a Michigan Licensed Pesticide Applicator and Certified Trainer and a Michigan Certified Nurseryman (MCN). Barney is actively involved with the Homebuilders Association of Greater Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited and Kalamazoo Valley Landscape and Nursery Association.
He is an avid fly-fisherman and enjoys hiking, camping, biking, cooking and traveling. Barney lives in Kalamazoo with his wife, Judy.

Office Manager
Judy Naylor has been with Naylor Landscape Management, Inc. since 1992. She has a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design from Western Michigan University. After working in the design field for several years, she decided to join Barney in the green industry. Judy’s responsibilities include bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable and any other tasks that help the office run smoothly.
She is actively involved with the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction and the Kalamazoo Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
She loves just about any outdoor activity. Hiking, kayaking, camping, fly-fishing and biking are a few of her favorites.

Administrative Assistant
Dana Russell, our new Director of First Impressions/Administrative Assistant and Accounts Receivable Clerk joined Naylor in March 2007. Dana has an Associates Degree from KVCC in Business Administration and worked as an administrative assistant for a large contracting company in Florida. Dana served in the U. S. Army specializing in Office Management as an Administrative Specialist in Fort Rucker, Alabama. Her twelve years experience in office administration has been a huge benefit and she is eager to learn the landscaping business. She has found new and better ways to run our office and interact with our clients. Dana and her husband, Ed, have two boys.

Snow & Ice Management Sales
Wayne Schense joined our company to lead sales and assist with customer service in the Landscape Management and Snow & Ice Management departments in the spring of 2007.
Wayne brings nine years of experience to Naylor as president and owner of Absolute Lawn Care in Martin, Michigan. Wayne has already made a positive impact by increasing departmental sales and allowing department supervisor, Harold Curtis, to focus on operations and employee training.
The addition of Wayne to the Naylor Landscape Management team will allow us to better serve our clients. Wayne, his wife Amy, and their two daughters live in the Kalamazoo area.

Christmas Décor Installation Supervisor
Mike Pohlman is a Michigan Licensed Pesticide Applicator, a Michigan Certified Nurseryman (MCN) and a professionally trained Christmas Décor installer.
Mike has been with Naylor since 1997 and is responsible for servicing a large lawn care client base as well as managing the Christmas Décor installation team.
Mike was born and raised in Portage, Michigan. In his spare time, Mike likes to hunt, fish and spend time with his family. Mike resides in Kalamazoo with his wife, Ruth and their daughter, Jordan.
